Point North, Gloster Hill Self Build

The cows are the Rigg and Furrow cows and nothing to do with the build, I just though they looked better than the building site 🤷🏻‍♂️

Short update this week because things have been delays due to the weather again, not rain, not wind but snow and ice.

Green Roof have been trying to push things along but the weather has been against everyone. It’s dangerous on site and the boarded roof basically become an ice rink.

But progress is progress ,

they’ve been taping the outer OSB with airtightness tape,

the building has been partially wrapped in the breather membrane,

And they managed to get the insulation on to the roof which is connected via ‘anti’ thermal bridging connections.

We are back to catch up. Due to the weather the roofer has been delayed until next week.
