Since seeing the plot we’ve been a little bit concerned about the position of two manholes just on our plot where the current Planning thinks that we’ll build a 3m high retaining wall. Today we met with a guy from Northumberland Water on the site to discuss what the options would be.
It was a good conversation and it appears that we have two options. A very expensive option to redivert the sewers OR move the retaining wall. We are most likely going to have to change the plans and move the retaining wall by a couple of meters.
Anyway at least we know …
